Deratization, disinfection and disinfestation activities are intended to ensure a healthy living environment, with as few disease-causing factors as possible, an absolutely necessary activity due to the increasing number of vectors that can cause serious infectious diseases, epidemics and outbreaks among the population.

The evolution of the rat extermination, disinfection and disinfestation service is especially important after 1995, an essential year for the trajectory that these activities followed, because in that year the World Health Organization (W.H.O.) ranked the Romanian capital in first place in Europe in terms of infestation level with two of the most important vectors (rats and mosquitoes), and in the summer of the following year (1996), following an analysis carried out based on the reports drawn up by the Public Health Authority, it emerged that, due to the high infestation among the population with the WEST NILE virus, a series of cases of meningo-encephalitis were reported, which led to a number of 47 deaths caused by the aforementioned virus. This virus is transmitted by mosquitoes.

ASOSEPTIS SERVICES SRL was established in 2020, with the aim of ensuring disinfestation, disinfection and deratization activities, mainly pursuing:

  • protection of public health;
  • responsibility towards citizens;
  • conservation and protection of the environment;
  • quality assurance;

ASOSEPTIS SERVICES SRL has established the following general objectives:

  • Maintaining the degree of vector infestation (nuisance insects, rodents) under control;
  • Informing and raising awareness among citizens regarding the measures that are required in their own households to eliminate sources generating outbreaks of vector infestation (nuisance insects, rodents);
  • Promoting the quality and efficiency of deratization, disinfection and disinfestation activities;
  • Environmental protection, highlighting environmental protection measures by development stages, in accordance with the program for adapting to European Union norms.
